Tips and Suggestions for a Perfect Cheesy Donuts.
Firstly, I have added pre-soaked poha and bread crumbs to potato mixture. You can also replace them with Semolina (sooji) or Fresh Bread slices. They both helps the donuts to crisp while deep frying, however you can bake them also in oven and that makes this Cheesy Donuts crispy from outside.
I highly recommend to fry these Cheesy Donuts in a low to medium flame. it has to turn golden brown in colour and should be removed if it turns crisp.
For Cheesy Sauce/glaze I used Mozzarella Cheese and cPlain Cheese slices and mix with diluted milk. Milk helps to make this glaze creamier and shinier, and also it gives a nice milky flavour. You can replace cheese with your favourite one.
Can I Freeze Donuts?
Non fried Cheesy Donuts refrigerate well. If you are planning to make a bunch of Donuts then you can make the Donuts up to 1 to 2 days ahead of time and refrigerate.
Use air tight container or freezer bags.
When it comes to defrosting, leave them to thaw on the counter for 15 to 30 minutes. And make sure the Donuts stay uncovered, so all the moisture evaporates instead of being absorbed. Then Fry them, This way, you won’t end up with a non-crispy Cheesy Donuts.

[cooked-sharing]
To begin, make the dough for the Donuts.
In a large bowl, mix together boiled n mashed potatoes, Bread crumbs, Pre-soaked poha, Grated Mozzarella Cheese, Coriander leaves, Chilli ginger paste n salt.
Combine well and Knead for about 2 minutes, or until smooth.
Turn the dough out onto a parchment paper or baking paper, and gently roll out to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with a Donut cutter. Here I used a ring cutter. If you do not have any cutter you can use rim of a steel glass also.
Heat oil in a large heavy skillet.
Slide donuts into the hot oil. Turn donuts over as they rise to the surface. Deep-fry the donuts in batches for a few minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on kitchen absorbent paper.
In a mixing bowl take grated mozzarella cheese, Cheese Slices, Diluted milk and mix.
Microwave it for 30 seconds.
Stir well till the mixture forms smooth and creamy.
Ensuring the Cheesy sauce is warm but not so hot that you’ll burn yourself, transfer to a piping bag.
Place all Donuts in a serving plate and pour the Cheesy sauce on top of the Donuts.
Serve Cheesy Donuts sprinkled with Oregano and Chilli flakes.
